Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents and consumables, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, analysis procedures, result calculation and precision for the determination of sesamin and sesamolin in sesame oil by high performance liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of sesamin and sesamolin in sesame oil, sesame crude oil and finished sesame oil. The detection limit of this standard method is: sesamin 0.01 mg/g; sesamin 0.02 mg/g.
