Scope: When determining thermal spray material requirements, it is necessary to apply the data in this standard regarding the deposition efficiency of the spray process. This standard specifies the determination procedure of thermal spray deposition efficiency, as well as the related thermal spray materials, equipment and auxiliary materials. This standard applies to all thermal spray processes (see ISO 14917) and to all thermal spray materials for wire, rod, core and powder.
