Scope: This part of GB/T 31540 specifies the engineering analysis method of building automatic fire protection facilities, which is applicable to the calculation of detection time of automatic fire alarm system and activation time of automatic fire extinguishing system, as well as the evaluation of the effectiveness of automatic fire extinguishing system. This section does not consider the impact of human intervention on detection, activation and fire extinguishing.
