Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for material properties, structural design, electrical installations, etc. of public information signs. This standard applies to the design and production of various types of public information signs (including luminous signs, non-luminous signs, fixed signs and movable signs, etc.) installed indoors and outdoors. This standard does not apply to road traffic signs and safety signs.
