This standard specifies the dimensions and tolerances of pneumatic quick-connect connector plugs to ensure their interchangeability. Specifies the technical performance and application guidelines of plugs, and specifies test methods for quick-release couplings that can quickly connect or disconnect gas lines without tools or special devices. Note 1: The structure and size of the socket are set by the manufacturer. This standard is applicable to cylindrical quick-change joints used in pneumatic transmission systems with maximum working pressures of 1 MPa, 1.6 MPa and 2.5 MPa. Note 2: Quick connectors with one-way valves that are not prepared for welding, cutting and related processes shall comply with the provisions of IS0 7289 "Quick connectors for circuit break valves for welding, cutting and related processing". This standard applies only to dimensional guidelines for products manufactured in compliance with this standard. But it does not apply to their functional characteristics.
