This Standard applies to Cream Cheese intended for direct consumption or for further processing in conformity with the description in Section 2 of this Standard. In some countries, the term cream cheese is used to designate cheeses, such as high fat ripened hard cheese, that do not conform to the description I Section 2. This Standard does not apply to such cheeses.
