- This standard specifies the technical requirements for diagnosis of chicken typhoid fever and pullorum. The clinical diagnosis and laboratory diagnosis specified in this standard are applicable to the diagnosis of Salmonella gallinarum and Salmonella chicks infection in chickens of all ages. Among them, the PCR method can be used to identify Salmonella Gallinarum and Salmonella Gallinarum, and the whole blood plate agglutination test is suitable for the detection of antibodies to Salmonella Gallinarum and Salmonella Gallinarum in adult chickens. This standard can also be used for epidemiological investigation of chicken typhoid fever and pullorum and monitoring of healthy chicken flocks.
