- This standard specifies the classification criteria and classification indicators for flight accidents occurring during the operation of civil aircraft, and is the basis for determining the severity of flight accidents. This standard applies to all aircraft engaged in civil aviation activities within the territory of the People's Republic of China and all aircraft registered in the People's Republic of China and engaged in civil aviation activities outside the territory of the People's Republic of China. This standard does not apply to all civil aircraft flight test activities before obtaining the airworthiness certificate for the first time.
