This standard introduces measurement-based calculation methods for atmospheric parameters (turbulence, wind speed, wind direction, temperature, mixing layer height), which must be available as input data for various types of dispersion models. For this purpose, numerous equations are given for the mathematical determination of these parameters. The equations given can also be applied e.g. in the context of yield assessment for the use of wind energy. This standard addresses technical experts and users working with atmospheric dispersion models.
