This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural forms and basic parameters, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging and storage of special measuring tools for rolling stock wheels (hereinafter referred to as special measuring tools for wheels). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of special measuring instruments for static contact measurement of rim and tread parameters and wheel diameter of wheels for locomotives, vehicles and EMUs. Special measuring instruments for wheels used in subways, light rail and other vehicles can be used as a reference.
