Scope

This standard specifies four determination methods that can be used to measure radon and its progeny in ambient air, namely track etching method, activated carbon box method, double filter membrane method and balloon method. This standard applies to the determination of radon-222 and its progeny α potential concentration in indoor and outdoor air.
