This document specifies the requirements for two types of hoses and hose assemblies, one for low pressure, with a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar, and the other for high pressure, with a maximum operating pressure of 18 bar, made of rubber and with hose fittings are made of metal and are intended for the conveyance of saturated steam and hot water condensate. Each type is divided into two classes, which have either an oil-resistant or a non-oil-resistant outer layer. NOTE Information on testing frequency of in-service hose assemblies and storage is provided in Appendix A and Appendix B.
