Scope

This International Standard specifies a color code for identifying disposable medical cannulas with a nominal metric size ranging from 0.18 mm (34 gauge) to 3.4 mm (10 gauge). It applies to normal-thin, thin-, extra-thin and ultra-thin-walled cannulas as well as opaque or transparent colors. This International Standard is not applicable to pen cannulas.
