- Scope
- This International Standard specifies the minimum requirements for the design, manufacture and testing of pumps for cryogenic service. This International Standard applies to centrifugal pumps. However, if applicable, it can also be used for other types of pumps (e.g. piston pumps). This International Standard also provides guidance on the design of systems. It does not specify any requirements for operation or maintenance. NOTE For cryogenic fluids see ISO 21029-1, ISO 20421-1 and/or ISO 21009-1.
