This standard specifies the dimension series, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and design calculations of disc springs (hereinafter referred to as disc springs). This standard applies to general disc springs. This standard does not apply to trapezoidal section disc springs, slotted disc springs and diaphragm disc springs.
