This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of inorganic binder-coated green sand for non-ferrous alloy casting. This standard is mainly applicable to wet sand coated with silicate as a binder for hot core box core making for non-ferrous alloy casting.
