Scope

This International Standard specifies methods for objectively evaluating the quality of speech transmission with respect to intelligibility. That is, "Rapid Speech Transfer Index" method, referred to as "RASTI" method. This standard applies to the evaluation of speech transmission quality in halls with or without acoustic systems.
