This standard specifies the method for determining the relative density of essential oils at 20°C. This standard applies to essential oils that are liquid at 20°C. Note: Due to the nature of essential oils, if testing at different temperatures is required, this will be stated in the standard for each essential oil. The average correction value for essential oils in the range of 20°C is 0.0007 to 0.0008 per 1°C.
