Scope
This standard specifies the equipment and procedures for measuring the influence of continuous cycle conditions on the mechanical properties and moisture content of products. The cycle conditions are from -20 ℃ dry conditions to 20 ℃ water immersion conditions. This method is applicable to thermal insulation products. Its purpose is to simulate the effects of freeze-thaw on insulation products that are frequently exposed to water and low temperatures, such as inverted roofs and unprotected insulation products that are underground. This method is not applicable to all insulation products. Where relevant, the product standard shall state to which articles this standard applies.
