Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring oil consumption (including oil consumption and oil consumption rate) of diesel engines during bench tests. Hereinafter referred to as "measuring method". This standard is applicable to large, medium and small diesel engines, and one of the methods is selected for determination according to specific conditions.
