- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of air coolers and air heaters (referred to as heat exchangers). This standard applies to heat exchangers using water or steam as a medium for cooling or heating forced-flow air. The air cooler with brine or ethylene glycol as the medium can be used as a reference.
