Scope

This standard specifies the electro-acoustic frequency response characteristics of the full sound reproduction (or monitoring) system of the 70mm film magnetic copying magnetic sound track. This standard is applicable to the main channel system of mixed recording studios dedicated to movies, standard projection rooms and indoor theaters, and is also applicable to the reproduction of 35mm magnetic six-track sound in 70mm films with sound and image separation.
