- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for packaging, storage and transportation of helium mass spectrometer leak detectors. This standard applies to leak detectors (hereinafter referred to as instruments) that use helium-4 as a leak-indicating gas and use mass spectrometry as a detection method.
