- This standard specifies the definition, size and shape, standard temperature, heating rate, bending temperature calibration and marking of standard temperature measuring cones used in laboratories. This standard applies to the specified series of standard temperature measuring cones, and stipulates procedures to measure the refractoriness of refractory materials equivalent to the standard temperature measuring cones. The temperature range is 1500-1800 °C.
