Scope

This standard specifies the structural design, performance, material, test and inspection, marking and supply requirements of spring direct load safety valves. This standard applies to safety valves for steam boilers, pressure vessels and pipelines with a nominal pressure of PN0.1 to 32MPa and a flow path diameter greater than or equal to 8mm.
