Scope
This part of GB/T 32788 specifies the principles, test conditions, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, test results and test reports of the extraction method, dissolution method and burning method for determining the resin content of impregnation materials. This part is applicable to the determination of the resin content of prepregs with carbon fiber, glass fiber, aramid fiber, etc. as reinforcing materials and thermosetting resin as the matrix. The burning method is only applicable to prepregs with glass fiber as reinforcement. The extraction method and the dissolution method are not suitable for prepregs whose reinforcing materials can be dissolved in solvents, or prepregs whose resin matrix cannot be completely dissolved in solvents after curing.
