Scope

This standard specifies the protection measures (including material protection measures and comprehensive protection measures) and related technical requirements for the abrasion protection of small water turbines. This standard applies to the erosion protection of hydro turbines with a unit power of 500 kW~15 MW, including the erosion protection of newly built, expanded, rebuilt or put into operation hydro turbines. The erosion protection of hydro turbines with installed capacity of less than 500 kW in power stations can refer to this standard.
