Scope
This part of GB/T 32683 specifies the method for measuring the viscosity of emulsified or suspended liquid polymers or resins using a falling ball viscometer. The fluid suitable for the determination of this method should have the characteristics of Newtonian fluid, the measured viscosity range is 0.6 mPa ? s~250 000 mPa ? s, and the measured temperature range is -20 ℃~+ 120 ℃. If the fluid behavior is significantly different from Newtonian fluid behavior, then using a different falling ball or a different form of viscometer, such as a capillary or rotational viscometer, will give different results.
