This standard specifies the general principles and requirements for nuclear reactor protection systems used for non-safety purposes. This standard applies to nuclear reactor protection systems, especially to the interconnection between protection systems and other non-protection systems or equipment. This standard does not apply to: a. Physical connections between protection system sensors and physical variables to be monitored (such as thermowells, moderator media for neutron detectors, etc.); b. Protection systems and reactor control rods or other safety Electrical connection between machines; c. Electric and gas connection of power distribution system (power busbar) supplying energy to protection system and gas source.
