- This standard specifies the time interval and the standard temperature and humidity for the vulcanization of rubber samples and products and the adjustment of the test environment. This standard applies to standard environmental conditioning and time intervals for specimens. This standard does not cover testing and environmental conditioning conditions for special materials. The environmental conditioning and test conditions required for each standard test method shall be indicated in that standard.
