- This standard specifies two methods for determining the density of dense vulcanized rubber, namely method A and method 8. This standard is applicable to the determination of the density of general vulcanized rubber samples without voids by method A. It is also applicable to the determination of the density of samples that need to be cut into small pieces to eliminate voids by method B. This standard does not include methods for determining the relative density of rubber.
