Scope

This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in water. This standard refers to six specific polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons analyzed by the international standard ISO/DIS7981/2 high performance liquid chromatography. This standard is applicable to fluoranthene, benzo(b) fluoranthene, benzo(k) fluoranthene, benzo(a) pyrene, Determination of six polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons including benzo(ghi)perylene and indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene.
