Scope

This standard specifies the determination of manganese content in vulcanized rubber by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard applies to the determination of manganese in vulcanized rubber with manganese content higher than 0.5mg/kg, and also applies to the analysis of raw rubber and mixed rubber samples.
