Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of moisture in industrial salt, edible salt and potassium chloride samples in the salt industry. This standard is applicable to the determination of water content in samples of industrial salt, edible salt (sea salt, lake salt, mineral salt, refined salt) and potassium chloride in the salt industry.
