Scope: This standard specifies three methods for measuring plastic specular gloss with angles of 20°, 45° and 60°. This standard applies to the measurement of plastic specular gloss. Among them, the angle of 20° is used for high-gloss plastics, the angle of 45° is mainly used for low-gloss plastics, and the angle of 60° is mainly used for medium-gloss plastics. For specular gloss comparisons only apply to the same type of plastic using the same method.
