Scope

This standard specifies the terminology of the main safety conditions that should be followed when using electronic components in railway signaling technology, the evaluation of the safety of railway signaling equipment and the main principles of using electronic components. This standard applies to all railway signaling equipment using electronic components (hereinafter referred to as signaling equipment).
