EN ISO 20200:2015 Plastics - Determination of the degree of disintegration of plastic materials under simulated composting conditions in a laboratory-scale test
This International Standard specifies a method for determining the degree of decomposition of plastic materials exposed to a composting environment on a laboratory scale. The method does not apply to determining the biodegradability of plastics under composting conditions. In order to certify compostability, further testing is necessary.
