Scope

This standard specifies the technical conditions for hot-rolled thick steel plates and strips of carbon structural steel and low alloy structural steel. This standard applies to ordinary carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel hot-rolled thick steel plates with a thickness greater than 4-200 mm and hot-rolled steel strips with a thickness greater than 4-25 mm.
