This standard specifies the method for the determination of L-ascorbic acid in fruit and vegetable juice beverages using 2,6-dichloroindophenol titration-ether extraction method. This standard applies to the determination of L-ascorbic acid in concentrated fruit and vegetable juices, fruit and vegetable juices, fruit and vegetable juice drinks, fruit and vegetable juice carbonated drinks and fruit and vegetable juice solid drinks, especially for the determination of L-ascorbic acid in dark fruit and vegetable juice drinks. But not suitable for the determination of dehydroascorbic acid.
