Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation of the detergency and anti-wear performance of internal combustion engine oil by Caterpillar 1H2 method. This standard is applicable to the performance evaluation of diesel engine oil (CD grade), as well as the performance evaluation of general-purpose oil for gasoline and diesel engines, oil for internal combustion locomotives, etc.
