Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions and parameters of small cylindrical helical tension springs. This standard applies to general-purpose cold-rolled cylindrical helical tension springs (circular shackle-pressed center type) made of circular cross-section materials with a diameter of less than 0.5 mm, hereinafter referred to as springs.
