This voluntary specification establishes minimum performance requirements for liquid applied flashing used to provide a water-resistive seal around exterior wall openings in buildings that includes fenestration products such as windows and doors, as well as other through-wall penetrations.
This specification sets forth minimum performance levels, which enable the specifier to evaluate and select the liquid applied flashing. Three levels of heat exposure classification are established in this specification. It is the responsibility of the specifier to designate the appropriate level based on the intended exposure
