Scope

This International Standard specifies a method for measuring the mechanical admittance or other frequency response functions of structures such as buildings, machines and vehicles excited by a single contact vibrator. This standard applies to single-point or multi-point measurement of admittance, acceleration admittance or displacement admittance, which can be the measurement of the driving point admittance at the excitation point (driving point measurement) or the driving point Measurement of transfer admittance with other points (transfer measurement). Also suitable for determining the inverse of these frequency response functions, such as measurements of free acceleration impedance (free effective mass).
