Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, testing principles, testing methods, comparison samples, testing equipment, testing conditions and procedures, result judgment and testing reports for magnetic flux leakage testing of ferromagnetic round steel. This standard applies to the surface and near-surface magnetic flux leakage detection of round steel (including steel wire) with a diameter of 10 mm to 350 mm. Other specifications can refer to this standard.
