Scope
This part specifies the calibration and verification method of the light scattering method liquid particle counter (hereinafter referred to as the counter), which is used to measure the particle size and number concentration of particles suspended in the liquid. The light scattering method described in this section is based on the measurement of individual particle scattering, and the typical particle size measurement range is 0.1 μm to 10 μm. This method can be used to evaluate the cleanliness of pure water and chemical reagents, and can also be used to measure the particle number concentration and particle size distribution in other liquids. According to the refractive index of the particles and the liquid medium, the equivalent particle diameter of the calibration particles in pure water is measured. This part includes the following contents: a) particle size calibration; b) particle size setting verification; c) counting efficiency; d) particle size resolution; e) false count rate; f) upper limit of particle number concentration measurement; g) flow rate; h) sampling time; i) sampling volume; j) calibration period; k) test report.
