Scope

This standard specifies the test specimens, test equipment and test procedures, etc. for the determination method of rubber-to-metal bond strength. This standard is applicable to the specimens prepared under specified conditions and bonded between rubber and two parallel metal surfaces. Rubber and metal can be directly bonded after vulcanization, or the vulcanized rubber can be bonded with adhesive ¹ .
