Scope

This standard specifies the reticle lines of reticle parts for optical instruments, the stroke lines of fonts and symbols, the technical requirements for surface defects, test methods and markings on drawings. This standard applies to glass reticles (mirrors), reticles and dials. This standard does not apply to grating scales, grating disks, code disks and resolution plates, etc.
