Scope

This standard specifies the method of admittance measurement to evaluate the sealing quality of aluminum and aluminum alloy anodic oxide films. This standard is applicable to the determination of the sealing quality of the anodized film of aluminum and aluminum alloys sealed in aqueous solution or water vapor. It can be used as a product quality control method, and can also be used as an acceptance method agreed upon by both the supplier and the purchaser.
