GB/T 11020-1989 Test methods for the determination of the flammability of solid electrical insulating materials when exposed to an igniting source (English Version)
The test methods specified in this standard are applicable to the evaluation of the combustion performance of solid electrical insulating materials after exposure to ignition sources. The test results can be used to check the stability of the burning properties of insulating materials, and make relative comparisons and classifications of the burning properties of various insulating materials. The test methods specified in this standard are only applicable to the quality control and evaluation of insulating material products, not to the determination of the flammability and fire hazard of each insulating part in the equipment. Because the size of the insulating structure, the configuration and thermal conductivity of adjacent metal parts, etc., all greatly affect the combustion performance of the insulating materials used in the equipment.
