- This standard specifies the basic types, technical requirements and testing methods of oxygen cylinder valves. This standard applies to valves on oxygen cylinders with nominal working pressure not greater than 30MPa, and to valves on nitrogen and air cylinders with nominal working pressure not greater than 30MPa. This standard does not apply to valves on high-purity oxygen and nitrogen cylinders. Note: The pressure in this standard refers to gauge pressure.
